Hallowell is a local group of singers who offer songs for healing and
comfort at the bedsides of the ill or dying. The group is a component of
Brattleboro Area Hospice’s services and is organized and facilitated
by Kathy Leo.
Hallowell co-music director Peter Amidon is also a co-choir director of the Guilford Community Church. Hallowell was originally formed from some of the members of the Guilford Community Church Choir and some of the members of Mary Cay Brass's River Singers. Hallowell's repertoire started out with some of the overlapping repertoire of these two singing groups.
