The annual Christmas Bazaar took place on Saturday, December 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. An enticing array of handmade crafts, balsam holiday wreaths, white elephant items, stocking stuffers,
and homemade jams, baked goods, and specialty cookie platters was on sale. There were supervised craft activities for children (decorating Christmas cookies), and coffee and goodies on sale throughout the day, in addition to a delicious lunch of homemade soups, sandwiches, and quiches.
This year’s raffle included a very special item, the beautiful Kipling Tapestry quilt, with a variety of scenes from the Just So Stories. The general bazaar raffle included a variety of desirable items such as gift baskets, an American Girl doll, gift certificates to area businesses, and more!
Cathy Hess chaired the bazaar this year with support from past chair Mary Alice Amidon.
