The Guilford Church

APPRECIATION:
Madam Reverend, this year though has been so hard here, we cannot forget  to say a Big Thank You to you people.Surely  to us all, children and guardians know very well that  what you give us is A Lot and Guilford is not Small !

Even if we cannot celebrate our kenya shilling having declined against the Dollar, we received KSH 123,000 OR roughly US DOLLARS 1600 (After  Bank exchange charges), and even though  most things were  over  double,  what we  purchase other years,  we  managed  to  have  More.

 Thus tell Guilford folks to Greet one another, and let one tell the other that IS A WONDERFUL PERSON !
Otherwise we bought

• 20 bales of maize flour
• 10 bags/ sacks of potatoes
• 5 sacks/bags of beans
• 10 bags/ sacks of rice
• 2 sacks/bags Greens
• Beddings for two families

Know that:
SONGS FADE,  FLOWERS DIE,  MEMORIES ALWAYS FORGOTTEN,
BUT PRECIOUS  PEOPLE LIKE  GUILFORD COMMUNITY ARE TREASURED FOREVER! GOD BLESS,MERRY  X-MAS  AND  HAPPY  NEW  YEAR 2009!

Dear Rev. Lise
Our hope and prayers is that you are all happy and healthy.
Surely even after that long struggle, the Donation reached us and on Saturday morning we did our shopping.
We had a very beautiful day on saturday where we met with the kids.
This year we very much grateful to you for really supporting us more. We bought food for the children . We had two cases where some children lacked bedding which we bought for them.
Note that even if food prices were very high we managed to buy food for all the children.
